Can't install Meshroom-2018.1.0 on Windows 8.1 x64

Hi I am looking for some help on getting Meshroom to install/work on Windows 8.1 x64 computer. My computer has 8 GB of RAM, 4 core Intel CPU (8 total with hyper-threading), and a Nvidia Quatro graphics card. I have attached some screen captures of error messages and more detailed system specs if it helps you improve Meshroom for others so they won't have install issues.

Hi Matthew, I'm running Windows 10 on a laptop which isn't as good as your system by the sounds of it and Meshroom working fine so far. I just unzipped the Meshroom-2018.1.0 folder and open the Meshroom.exe file by double clicking on it or RMB > open etc. Runs fine. In the downloaded folder you should have the following files: COPYING.md, Meshroom.exe, meshroom_photogrammetry.exe, python36.dll along with the following folders: aliceVision, lib, qtPlugins. I had the same problem because the zip file was extracting these folders to different directories, make sure your file structure is the same in the extraction folder as the zip file.

I too am having problems getting this to work not sure where it was supposed to be placed in the folder scheme of things. Also, there is a DLL file missing and from what I have been told need to load VC++ but for some reason, the currently installed VC++ is not working. Now have to figure out what programs to uninstall as there are differing years for the same files. That is in the program settings section under control panel.
