Ive just installed Ubuntu cinnamon on my PC with a gtx 1050ti video card. Ubuntu installed the nvidia 535 video driver automatically as part of the install and then I installed CUDA.

When I try to run Meshroom 2025.1.0  I get this error message:
-----------------------------------------------
qt.qpa.plugin: From 6.5.0, xcb-cursor0 or libxcb-cursor0 is needed to load the Qt xcb platform plugin.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: offscreen, wayland-egl, minimalegl, eglfs, vkkhrdisplay, vnc, wayland, linuxfb, xcb, minimal.

Aborted (core dumped)
----------------------------------------------------

However if I run Meshroom 2023.2.0 it opens up as normal. I have yet to try actually creating a model.

Can someone  explain what the error message means? Ans is there anything I can do about it? It's all gobbledygook to me.

Patrick
