Hello,

I get errors when using the Gaussian Splatting Photogrammetry pipeline. I have copied the mrGSplat-master folder to the plugins folder and get the same errors on both Windows 11 and Linux Mint 22.3. There are two error screens.

The first screen has the following message:

Error While Loading Project File - Meshroom 2025.1.0

An unexpected error has occurred while loading file: 'gaussianSplattingPhotogrammetry.mg'

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "C:\Release\sources\Meshroom\meshroom\ui\reconstruction.py", line 476, in _loadWithErrorReport

File "C:\Release\sources\Meshroom\meshroom\core\__init__.py", line 194, in __init__

File "C:\Release\sources\Meshroom\meshroom\core\__init__.py", line 270, in toComponents

File "C:\Release\sources\Meshroom\meshroom\core\__init__.py", line 270, in <listcomp>

ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '0+develop'

The second screen has this message:

Error While Loading Project File - Meshroom 2025.1.0

An unexpected error has occurred while loading file: 'gaussianSplattingPhotogrammetry.mg'

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "C:\Release\sources\Meshroom\meshroom\ui\reconstruction.py", line 476, in _loadWithErrorReport

File "C:\Release\sources\Meshroom\meshroom\core\__init__.py", line 270, in <listcomp>

ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '0+develop'

Any guidance?

The MrGSplat plugin currently only works on the development version of Meshroom.
While I did not hit the errors you mention, there are multiple nodes in the pipeline that the 2025.1.0 version does not understand/know about.

The development version requires manual compilation.  I hit dependency hell in trying to manually compile Meshroom, running Linux Mint XFCE 22.3.
So we will have to wait for either a new Meshroom version, or you might want to attempt manual compilation.
That might be easier to do on Windows, but I am not sure.
