Qualifications:
-8 years of experience as a technology leader designing and developing data architecture solutions with more than
-2 years specializing in big data architecture or data analytics.
-2 years of experience in building and implementing an architecture roadmap for next generation enterprise data and analytics solutions
-2 years of experience in designing and developing high-volume mission critical data integration solutions.
-2 years of experience in building and deploying solutions to big data problems with various technologies.
-2 years of hands-on technical experience in working with big data architectures, including Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Pig, Hive or other big data frameworks.
-Strong Business Intelligence, Data warehouse, ETL and data modelling experience.
-Firm understanding of programming languages like Java, Python.
-Experience with implementing big data solutions in the cloud. Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions like Amazon Web Services or
Elastic MapReduce.
-Experience supporting Spring Framework and RESTful API hooks
-Experience with Cloud Security implementation including AD integration
-Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics, NOSQL technologies(e.g. Hbase, Cassandra, MongoDB), data modelling, data management, and analytical tools (e.g. SAS, R ).
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering required, higher degrees preferred.
-Fluency / expertise in the following are required:
-Pivotal Big Data Suite : Greenplum, Gemfire, Spring XD and Rabbit MQ
-Environments: Amazon Web Services, Cloud Foundry and vCloud Air
-Big Data Technologies Hadoop, Kafka, ZooKeeper, Hbase, Hive etc
-Shell programming
-Experience with at least one configuration management and storage management tool
-System and application monitoring
-Fluency / expertise in the following are preferred:
-Languages: Python, Ruby, and shell scripts
-Middleware Platforms: ESB, API Management, WebSphere and Google Search Appliance
-Methodologies: Agile Project Management, Test Driven Development and Paired Programming
-Tools: Git, Maven, Continuous Integration, SVN, Ant, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA and JIRA
-Architectures/Frameworks: Angular JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Reactive Web Design, Micro- Service Architecture, RESTful Web Services, JUnit, Swagger, OAuth, Single Sign On, SAML, Spring Framework
-Played pivotal roles as an engineer and architect across domains.
-Ability to lead initiatives and people toward common goals.
-Can work with minimal supervision and is a self-starter.
-Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
-Must be a team player with Team First attitude. Must be willing and able to contribute to brainstorming sessions in a meaningful way.
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete our client employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
