ALHC passes go up 10/1; info on Fri. benefit

The American Lindy Hop Championships is October 22-24, 2010. The event
offers a dance intensive offering a variety of classes including Lindy
Collegiate Shag, Salsa, Blues and Balboa. It is a fun networking event
filled with live and deejayed music and dancing.

The event's weekend pass A begins Friday afternoon and gives attendees
their choice of all classes offered. Pass is $140 through September

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's Gulf Wildlife Rescue Project has
been chosen as the beneficiary for the dance which will open this
year's ALHC Friday night. One of the features that evening will be
Zoot Planet, a jump blues and R&B band. Check them out at

Saturday night is filled with contests to watch and lots of general
dancing. Featured is the Harlem Jazz and Blues Band. It is the world's
