I think it will increase potential sale value and increase the likelihood for selling it. It will make better pics with the strings and people like to see an item operational. Take pics with it in a guitar stand and decent back drop for lighting. A collector will know the value with strings or without, but others are just looking for a cool guitar to play music with so you hit both potential buyers. Good Luck

It depends on the type of guitar, the style of music and the knowledge of the musician playing the guitar. Good musicians will want to string their own guitar and with their favorite string. Amateur guitar players will probably want the guitar with strings.

Don't just add strings and leave them loose. Be sure to bring it up to close to tune. String also serve another function of keeping tension on the neck. Leaving a guitar unstrung for a period of time can cause some issues with the neck of the guitar.

Tagging along with @toomuchstuffagain35 I would at least loosen them so that they don't pop in transit. Another thing to consider is that person may want to use different strings depending on the type of guitar. Electric, acoustic, classical, slack key tuning? If it were me I would add the strings and then let the customer go from there once they receive the guitar.

String it up for your photos. When you ship, keep it strung but lower the tuning so it isn't under string tension during shipping. Buyers of guitars expect strings, even junk strings. If you sell without them, you will most likely get a complaint. I am a player and buyer of plenty of guitars. Even If I plan (usually do) on restringing them to a string that gives me the sound I like, I expect the guitar to come with strings. Even if I don't use them, it is nice to have some junk strings in my case for the unexpected string break.

What is the purpose of loosening the strings prior to shipping? I don't see the reason for this, but perhaps there is a good one. Seems like if you loosened them too much they'd slap on the body of the guitar and cause potential finish damage.

What would cause them to pop in transit? If it's in a good fitting case, I don't see how they would pop in transit. In fact, broken strings are pretty rare unless there are other issues at play. At least steel strings...

This warm and ethereal scent replicates the visual and olfactory experience of strings of light in the trees, with the playful addition of a vanilla milkshake note. Beeswax absolute is the star of the show, softened with Ambroxan, sweetened with vanilla milkshake, and made aromatic with lavender maillette and a very clean, light vetiver from Haiti.

Hand-blended with high quality perfumery materials, this scent is formulated at an extrait de parfum strength (more of the good stuff in your bottle) to provide maximum longevity and projection for the scent profile.

Choose from a coconut oil base for increased longevity, an alcohol base for more projection, or layer for the best of both worlds. We also now have an isopropyl myristate (IPM) base for our international customers who prefer a spray. The base can change the scent slightly; oil tends to bring out the richer base notes of a perfume and ages beautifully over time; alcohol tends to bring out lighter, fresher top notes and spice.

In Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, conflict and instability endure in contested border regions where local tensions connect with regional and global dynamics. The Asia Foundation, the Rift Valley Institute, and the Carnegie Middle East Center are working together to better understand the causes and impacts of conflict in these border areas and their international dimensions, support more effective policymaking and development programming, and build the capacity of their local partners to leverage research to advocate for peaceful change.

Following the Emirati military withdrawal, UAE-backed separatist militias clashed regularly with Saudi-backed government forces, imperiling the war effort in Yemen by dividing and destabilizing coalition-controlled areas. Tensions escalated in August 2019 when the STC, allegedly supported by UAE air strikes, took control of Aden, forcing government forces to withdraw. The violence quickly spread to Abyan and Shabwa, where separatists seized energy and maritime installations from the government.

Their shared worry about a Houthi victory pushed the Saudi and Emirati leadership to seek common ground by establishing a Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) in Riyadh in April 2022. The PLC includes allies of both countries, among them the STC. However, the council remains divided, indicating that Saudi and Emirati interests continue to diverge. Ultimately, that is because the two countries have different perceptions of what constitutes a most-desirable outcome in Yemen.

For Saudi Arabia, in turn, the problem transcends maritime issues. A Saudi-aligned government could potentially allow the kingdom to build a pipeline to the Arabian Sea, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz and denying Iran the means to obstruct Saudi oil exports. However, that is not enough. A continued Houthi presence across the southern Saudi border still means Iran can indirectly target the kingdom, in particular its energy facilities. That explains why a unified Yemen under a pro-Saudi government remains a priority for Riyadh, beyond the maritime advantages involved.

This has already begun to play out in Hadramawt Governorate. Following a military victory over Islah in Shabwa in August 2022, the STC launched an offensive to capture the Islah stronghold of Seiyun. A divided Yemen gives the UAE more latitude to weaken Islah territorially and reduces the legitimacy of the internationally recognized government of which Islah is a part. Moreover, while Yemen remains disunited, the UAE faces minimal challenges to its authority over southern ports and energy facilities, giving it a strong edge in shaping the outlook for maritime trade in the region.

The ongoing talks between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis to end the conflict are a promising step toward peace in Yemen. However, the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to expand their influence in coastal areas through support for local militias could signal a more enduring power struggle over southern Yemen.
