Good day All,

Please i have a client who wants to achieve these 2 things:

1. Deploy Alfresco on cloud via Microsoft azure
2. Sync the Alfresco deployment on cloud with the Alfresco deployed on premise.

The 1st objective I can achieve but i need someone to guide as to how to achieve the 2nd objective and if it is actually possible.

I look forward to your kind responses.

Regards,

Ejike

Hello Ejike,

There is nothing out-of-the-box that will do two-way synchronization between two separate Alfresco servers in a robust way. You can either write it yourself or you can take a look at what others have done. I worked with Parashift to implement their sync solution for one of my clients:

Maybe that will work for you.

Also, a small request: Can you not use all-caps in subject lines? Most will read that as you shouting at us, which I know is not what you intended.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Top of the day to you. Thanks for your reply, I'd study it and see if it applies to my scenario.

About me using all-caps in my subject lines, my sincere apologies to you and everyone else on this beautiful platform as it was never my intention to come across  as shouting.

Thanks and Regards,
