You're invited to the Finger Lakes Project Workshop - May 23-24, 2013.

The workshop is FREE to Ithaca College faculty, staff, & students. This year's Finger Lakes Project Workshop will focus on "Silent Sustainability"

You're invited to attend the Finger Lakes Project Workshop to be held on May 23-24, 2013 at Ithaca College (Clark Lounge). This year's workshop will explore "silent sustainability", or the ways that sustainable behavior is invisibly embedded in the educational goals and operations at Ithaca College and in regional endeavors.  If you're interested in sustainability education and want to hear from other faculty that have integrated sustainability into their courses, please join us!

More information and a schedule can be found on the FLP website. http://www.ithaca.edu/fingerlakes_project/flp_2013/

If you'd like to join us for part, or all of the event please send an email to sswe...@ithaca.edu.
IC faculty may attend all events, including meals, for free.

Hello Green Team Members,

Peter McClain and I are running a collection drive right now on campus, dubbed Mega Drive.  Our goal is to collect items from residential students that they would otherwise throw out while moving out.  We are collecting food donations, clothing items, electronics (working or not) and any other items in usable conditions.  These items will be donated, recycled or sold at a yard sale we will be hosting during Welcome Week in the fall.

We are looking for two things from the green team members.  First of all, we are looking for volunteers to help do a preliminary sort of items during final’s week (5/13 – 5/17).  If anyone is willing to put in an hour or two please send me an email and we will setup some times.  Secondly, if you could spread the word about the drive to the students that you have contact with, we would really appreciate it.  I have attached a copy of the flyer to this email.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Josh Stellrecht
