My departure and next steps

Dear Green Team,
As many of you are already aware, tomorrow is my last day at Alfred State. I’m leaving to be with my fiancée, who has accepted a terrific job in New Haven, CT. I’ll be joining GreenerU, a consulting firm that helps colleges achieve their sustainability goals.
I’m excited about the transition but I’m also sad to be leaving Alfred State. I’ve really enjoyed the past two years here and I’m pleased to have been part of the growth and development of Alfred State’s sustainability program. There is still plenty to do, but I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished and confident that Alfred State will continue to be a leader for sustainability.
To assist with the transition, I have prepared the attached report, which describes provides a snapshot of Alfred State’s sustainability efforts, with a focus on the specific initiatives that require some ongoing attention after I leave. It also includes some ideas for the future that may be helpful.
Thanks very much for your support and generosity over the past two years. The support from the Alfred State community (especially after my apartment exploded last year!) was truly touching.
