Recover or reset admin password

HELP!

I may have been a spanner...

My password manager generated a new password for our admin account but for whatever reason now neither the new password or the old password is being accepted...

Is there a way I can manually reset the password? I have the database password so can access that.

Disaster averted. I opened the database from a backup and just copied the old pre-encrypted password into the live database.
