September 6, 2024 Join us for a discussion this Friday in memory of our courageous Gauri Lankesh who was assassinated on the 5th of September in 2017. Shivsundar, Gauri's dear friend and our comrade will be speaking about the legacy of Gauri, the enormous work she carried on her shoulders.  In the backdrop of the changing media landscape with modern day forms of censorship being promulgated by the Government, how do we imagine the rights of journalists? How do we think of our relationship with the news? And most importantly, how do we dream of a free and accountable media?  Shivsundar is a renowned journalist and activist.
