Call for applications: Project Coordinator

Alternative Law Forum (ALF) invites applications for the role of Project Coordinator based in Bangalore. The role involves litigation, building legal capacity & working with grassroots communities to strengthen access to justice in two districts of Karnataka.

Responsibilities:

- Litigation in matters pertaining to caste based discrimination and other human rights matters

- ⁠Supervision and guidance of litigation fellows

- ⁠Curriculum Development & preparation of materials for workshops and trainings

- Conduct workshops for different groups on laws pertaining to constitutional rights, caste discrimination and land rights.

- Work with district teams in Tumkur and Chikmagalur to address cases relating to caste-based discrimination and land issues (PoA  Act, PTCL Act etc).

- Overall coordination with the district teams in Tumkur and Chikmagalur

ಆಲ್ಟರ್ನೇಟಿವ್ ಲಾ ಫೋರಮ್ (ALF) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕಚೇರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನಾ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ  (Project Co-ordinator) ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದೆ. ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಎರಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ  ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ವಕೀಲಿಕೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಅರಿವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಳಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ದೊರಕುವಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸ ಬೇಕಿದೆ.

ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳು:

- ಜಾತಿ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಮಾನವ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವುದು.
- ⁠ಲಿಟಿಗೇಷನ್ ಫೆಲೋಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಸಲಹೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದು.
- ⁠ಕಾನೂನು ತರಬೇತಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ (Curriculum)  ತಯಾರಿಸುವುದು.
- ಸಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು, ಜಾತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ  ಮತ್ತು ಭೂ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕಾನೂನುಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವಿಧ ಗುಂಪುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದು.
- ತುಮಕೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ತಂಡಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ, ಜಾತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು (PoA Act, PTCL Act ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ) ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವುದು.
- ತುಮಕೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ತಂಡಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಸಮನ್ವಯ (Coordination) ಸಾಧಿಸುವುದು.
