Igoogled and and I followed the instructions -us/windows/security/identity-protection/credential-guard/credential-guard-manage on disabling the device/credential guard, but still not working. I also tried =CGpv2Dvzyeg and it's the same issue. I read the stackoverflow posts related to this issue like VMware Workstation and Device/Credential Guard are not compatible but still does not help.
The reason is not because of a device/credential guard compatibility issue that was resolved in earlier vmware player and workstation releases. The reason is because i've forgotten to reboot system with the hyperv-v hypervisor disabled at boot.
As was noted in comments to your question by @magicandre1981 one solution is to uninstall the hyper-v feature and reboot. An alternative, especially if you need hyper-v at other times for vm or docker containers or phone emulator purpose,s is to just temporarily disable its hypervisor component.
If you are someone who maintains an open customized "Run as administrator" command prompt or powershell command line window at all the time you can optionally setup the following aliases / macros to simplify executing the above commands.
With the above in place you just type "hpvenb" [ hypervisor enabled at boot ], "hpvdis" [ hypervisor disabled at boot ] and "bcdl" [ boot configuration devices list ] commands to execute the on, off, list commands.
I had the same problem to run virtual mac. i did this two step.1_ turned off windows features "Hyper-v" and "virtual machine platform" and "windows hypervisor platform" and restarted windows.2_ installed last version Mac OS X Unlocker for VMware.
I am using an FFMPEG component in embarcadero C++ Builder to capture video from a Direct show video camera. The capture works fine and gives me good quality mp4 files which I can play back using VLC player or FFMPEG, but the video file is not compatible with windows media player and windows won't give the nice video image when you view a file list with windows explorer.
I have seen suggestions which say you simply need to set the capture format to YUV420P, however if I do this, FFMPEG raises an exception -5 (input / Output error) and the capture device will not open.
To allow storing more tags with full Unicode support Picard stores in addition to the RIFF INFO tags also ID3 tags. For WAVE this is non-standard and not all software supports it. WMP does not see those tags and ignores them, but some other players and tools, such as e.g. foobar2000, will use the ID3 tags.
I downloaded MusicBee and used it to convert a mirror of my music files to .flac. So I now have copies of all my music files in .wav and in .flac. Feeling pretty good about that. Thank you everyone for your help.
Using handbrake, go to Dimensions > Resolution and Scaling > Resolution Limit > 2160p 4K Ultra
This way, it would preserve the 4K resolution while keeping the codec compatible with WMP
However, in our environment, we did not have a lot of luck with 4K videos. We have a Dell Intel Core i5 9-gen, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel graphic card but the Xibo player crashed after a while (2-3 days) playing 4K clips. When it crashed, the app restarted itself again and you will know if you see the Windows Task bar appears at the bottom of the screen. If you click anywhere in the screen, the Task bar will disappear. We use this way to determine if the app crashed or not.

We did try Xibo player for Linux but it does not seem to work for us.
We ended up with the commercial version (paid) of Xibo Player for Android.
We installed the app on our hardware, which is a Android box 4GB RAM/ 32GB ROM, Quad-core Cortex CPU, Android 11, rooted. It runs a few 4K video clips, bunch of high-res images, weather widget, world clock, all are pretty slick, no issues for a straight almost 2 months by now. So we use those Android versions for production and stop the Windows PC
