Hi everyone,

BPAC is a registered nonprofit and we do not endorse candidates. As we have done in the past, we have asked candidates in the City Council special election questions related to issues we care about and are posting their responses our webpage as we receive them. We have received responses from three of the five candidates thus far.

Hi everyone,

We have posted an update to our webpage regarding the candidates' responses during the Alexandria Federation of Civic Associations. I have also pasted it below.

2/18/26 Update: During the Alexandria Federation of Civic Associations candidate forum, Cesar Madison Tapia, Charles Sumpter and Roberto Gomez withdrew their support from Braddock Rd Complete Streets project. Sandy Marks and Tim Laderach affirmed their support for the project.
