A little update. When I configured the "IIS_IUSRS (ITOP_IUSRS)" to be able to modify the "config-itop.php" file I was able to run the setup wizard again. After that I am seeing the LDAP option when creating a new user. However, I wanted to modify another option and when I tried to run setup again I get the same error as noted in my first post. The IIS_IUSRS still have modify permissions but it keeps failing to initiate setup again. Any assistance or ideas on this would be greatly appreciated. I will more than likely have to run the setup wizard several time to get the setup I want and especially if I want to upgrade.
I have two servers with Linux Ubuntu 18.04LTS, one has itop installed and the other ocs inventory, both have their own mysql database. I want to integrate the inventory into itop and have already tried the "Component details from OCS" tool. Here's the link: _US/products/itop-ocsng
but it doesn't work at all, if i use the wrong connector, somebody has made some experiences, because for me itop as well as the ocs inventory are new territory. it would be great if somebody can help me.
Recently I tried to install ITop on my xubuntu but all of my tries were unsuccessful. I used a lot of links like -operational-portal-using-itop-centosdebian/ and the official page as well, I installed apache and it works but when I type localhost/itop it raises the following error :
