Hi everyone--
Just a quick note to let you know that the gang at Alert Nerd, plus a
few friends, have put together the first issue of their quarterly
zine, Grok:

The debut edition features a theme of "pon farr," the blood lust that
drives Vulcans to mate every seven years, with pieces that touch upon
love, passions, sci-fi con sexcapades, and arcane fan fiction. You'll
find short stories, first-person essays, and even an interview.
Frankly, it's damn good stuff.
