Hello,

I got a short animation with a character with XGen fur that I'm trying to animate with Anim Wire curves. The problem is every time I try to Alembic cache the curves (with strip namespaces, world space, and HDF5 on), Maya crashes around the same frame and the Alembic cache file becomes corrupted. I have repeated the procedure with a smaller number of curves, and it had cached successfully, which makes me think it has something to do with the number of curves that an Alembic cache could handle. Is anyone else having this problem and is there any way to avoid it without having to lower the number of curves? Any help would be appreciated.

What if you turn off HDF5 and use Ogawa instead?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately using Ogawa did not help. It seems to be crashing at an even earlier frame.
