Alembic noise

This is an age old problem, but is there a way to get a better floating point accuracy when exporting Alembic data from maya? When exporting tens of thousands of units away from 0,0,0 there is jitter. I know one of my developers did this before and got some kind of double float accuracy that removed this jitter but that was years ago and I need to find out a way to handle this

you need to export geometry in local space, not world. And your transformation mattix should ideally be exported with double precision.

On a side note, this is not an Alembic specific issue but a floating point limitation.
