Hi All,

I have been trying to move some particles from Maya to Houdini.

The position of the particles is transferred fine, but no other per-particle attributes are carried over.
I would like age, lifespanPP, rotationPP, aimDirectionPP, etc transferred over.
Is that supported in Alembic or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks!

What plugin are you using to export it?

Sorry, I should have disclosed that information:

Maya 2016
Houdini 15.0
Windows 7x64

I'm just going through the Maya Cache menu:

Cache > Alembic Cache > Export Selected to Alembic

I have tried the default settings, which says 'Ogawa'
I have tried the 'HDF5' setting as well.
I have tried adding per-particle attributes to the 'Attributes' section.

Houdini only seems to be able to read Position, but no other per particle attributes.

Thanks!
