Unit tests

Am I correct in assuming that there is a fundamental difference between the junit tests (which test from outside->inside) and Christians tests (which test from inside->outside). That is junit tests which are written in java to test aldor and Christians tests which are written in aldor to test itself.

I get the impression these two approaches are complimentary but since I am testing a parser, validator and code generator I need external tests which would be be different in nature to Christians internal tests.

Correct - I wouldn't expect a parser to have aldor level tests.. you'd be testing too much.
