when one becomes starborn does one retain all information about their past lives ? In that case who is the keeper Aquilus at the sanctum universum . Also did Barrett know who he was from the beginning ( I went to the eye in my playthrough so Barrett is dead and I cant ask him anything. The keeper remains cryptic in his responses

3. Why do the hunter and emissary compete for artifacts . Cant they just collaborate ? Also who then are the other starborn groups that keep attacking you randomly? Also if the unity is acheived and one becomes starborn , does that mean the other starborn in that given universe cannot achieve unity ?

4. And finally , who is the traveller character depicted in the mythos of the sanctun universum , the vaarun , and the enlightened . Is the a man who became starborn , is he god ? Also why do his clues lead to the oborum system ? Whats so special there ?

Jackson clearly sees the path Ally is following. He has more experience and he tries to communicate what he has learned from his journey. They are standing together on the terrace. Behind them is Alley's gigantic poster on a billboard. She looks stunning, almost too perfect. Jackson says that she needs to be "real and honest" and it shouldn't matter what everyone else thinks. He adds: "4 days become 4 years, you start to like where you are." And concludes with "If you don't dig deep in your fucking soul, you won't have legs. Be soulful, passionate and tell them what you really want to say." The conflict between following your inner voice as an artist and following the voice of the media and fans.

Ally transitions from an ordinary(with potential for extraordinary) working woman to a successful singer-songwriter. Lady Gaga stamps her authority not only by her reigning vocals but through the actress present within. She surprises no one when she is singing. She does when she is not. When she is a nobody, and even when she is anything but a nobody. The battle is not with the talented singer and perfect performer, it is personal, with the insecure and flawed woman that she is. To sum it up, she owns the movie and rightly so. Lady Gaga explores her range as an actress and more often than not, she succeeds, emphatically. Ally sought validation and approval after she became a celebrity, like when Ramon says that she "looks like a star." changes her mood.

What if the Starborn effect is basically the Outsiders bestowing some their power 'Winter mantle style' on Humans? With their (the Outsiders) in universe lackeys (Nemesis, etc) leading them down a path of chaos the try and help them (the Outsiders) get easier access.

I hate the Starborn, and refuse to become one of them. Why, you ask? Because the Starborn abandoned everything that they have, and were, to become players in a cosmic-level rat race in a quest for gaining more power. They sought to kill me and my friends to stop us from learning about the artifacts. The Emissary pretends to have a morally superior justification for doing so; trying to play God, deciding who's worthy of such knowledge, while The Hunter plainly admits that he's a monster seeking God-like power by any means necessary. Both are tyrants. Fuck them both!

The Starborn have lost their humanity, and abandoned the search for greater truth. Why is searching for more power via collecting the artifacts more important than finding out who built the Armillary, the Artifacts, the Unity? Why is entering a multiverse more important than the family and friendships I would leave behind? There isn't enough money, power, or universes that would replace the one-of-a-kind wife I had, Sarah, that the Starborn took from me. Even if I entered the Unity, the Sarah I might find on the other side is not my Sarah no matter how much I want it to be.

And though I miss Sarah terribly, as time goes on, and wounds heal, I admit that I'm falling for Andreja. I couldn't leave her behind either, she matters to me. Though the intrigue of exploring another universe, and the power to be gained is tempting, it must be acknowledged that a version of The Hunter; The Pilgrim, eventually discovers the path of the Starborn becomes an empty quest for gaining more power. No friends, no loved ones, no humanity, no one to care when he's gone.

What good is Eternity if you have to walk it alone? What does that say about me: if I could just leave all that I love behind? Well, that's what the Starborn are to me. One universe is enough for me, and that universe still has countless mysteries to unfold and answers to find.

Why do people like Hunter keep doing it? Is the simple answer you become more powerful? But isn't this just an endless cycle with no real end then? I am struggling to see the point besides becoming more powerful, creating an endless loop of your power feeding into the next run, feeding into the next run, into the next run....but WHY? I don't think there is a reason, I suppose it is up to the individual Starborn to give it a reason with their own motives and goals.

I need help I've arrived in the new game plus and have only visited the lodge and the eye so far then I wanted to find the Starborn Trader I flew to Feynman 1 but it didn't happen do I have to do something to find him?

Yesterday i concluded my 120 hours Starfield ride and felt like writing this post. When i was presented with the choice to become Starborn, i went through the Unity and straight to the Lodge. But as you can read from the title, after thinking a bit about how i wanted to end the game i loaded a previous save and decided to reject the Unity. This is why:

Hi everyone,
TLDR: Lorewise, are you still starborn if you do not go through unity on your original universe?
After dropping about 40 hrs across 3 diff characters, I finally am ready to begin my playthrough to really dive into the game. I never beat the game myself, but am aware of the ending and how NG+ factors into being starborn/etc. Originally, I was planning to mostly speed through up until NG+ 5 for the Venator (?) armor and then deep-dive into the game like I am intending.
Looking through mods on Nexus however, has convinced me to get the game on steam and abandon my plans for doing NG+. A cool concept, but one I'm not really a fan of and wanted to do to fit my RP/narrative (and get the suit/ship). Going the modded route, I'm planning to not do NG+ and reject going though Unity. But is your character still considered starborn? Like, you can still use the powers, but my character (and how I am IRL lol) wouldn't want to abandon his original universe and relationships with no return.
Personally, I'd consider the PC to still be starborn, since they can have use powers and always have the ability to go through unity whenever. "Becoming" starborn is part of the RP/narrative I have in mind, but I have no interest in restarting/doing NG+.

Don't even get me started on the fact that literal alien life exists and the most terrifying thing you do with it is make a paltry easter egg ship drifting in space with a single alien to kill that has no real quest tied to it. I don't care if you felt that making aliens a threat to humanity feels too much like Zerg/Tyranids, DO IT. Space is about chaos and survival of the fittest. You could have featured entirely terraformed-by-xenos planetary biomes and you made aliens basically just as boring as mudcrabs.

So I think I have figured out what a starborn is.. what Dresden actually represents. There is a lot of symbolism in the series that isn't actually all that subtle and we can use to figure out the story. It starts with what the outsiders represent

He who Walks Before, i think, represents the evil that you hide from, behind their back, hoping they don't see you. He probably might the most powerful of the walkers in raw power. Interestingly, he calls himself 'Harbinger' and 'Gatebreaker'. That combined with his name makes me think that in the BAT, he will be invited in and then he will break the gates from the inside. And start the apocalypse.

Why do stars fall during the Empty Night? It will cause a pitch black void sky, which i think is the closest possible way for mortals to see the outside, Nothingness, void. To me it sounds like the stars are a representation of the outer gates in the physical world or just another gate.

If a starborn has some of this power in them, it makes sense why everyone is afraid of them. They can be used to destroy the gates somehow. But they also can protect against the Outsiders. Which is why everyone looks at Harry like a ticking time bomb.

He is a protector. He protects people. He started the war to protect, ended it to protect. He will cross almost any lines he needs to to protect. That is who Harry is. He is the wolf that guards the sheep. Even Id Harry, who has no morality, considers protection important in Dead Beat.

Another thing I want to clear up is, I think HWSA is not the main villain or anything. He will still be evil, but his main evil will be wanting the gates destroyed to start all out war. The rest of the motives might be unknowable.

So I finished House of Sky and Breath last night and I cant stop thinking about it, but I was trying to figure out where in Prythian Bryce is from (because as Regelus said, the Starborn fae are from an island in a state of near-permanent twilight, close to a land which has all sort of climes, which is most likely prythian). And because of Bryce's specific powers, I looked at the islands near night court and the Island that the prison is set at seems like the most logical place to consider. And its also said that in the island "Veils of chilled mist waft past" and that the entrance is in the upper face of the mountain and that With the touch of the High Lord of the Night Court's blood, the stone vanishes in a ripple of light. Pale, carved gates of bone are revealed.
Maybe the Starborn fae created the prison to contain whatever they fought before leaving.

The proof of this is Yrene Towers, someone who lives in Antica and has Starborn/ healing powers (glowing bright white light). She and Chaol find the lost Fae city, and uncover that the healers are descended from the Fae.
