Position: Software Build and Release Engineer III

Job Location: Bangalore

Job Description: As Software Build and Release Engineer for Cisco
Unified Communication Manager (CUCM):
1.) You will be part of global build team which provides build
infrastructure and does production builds for many Unified
Communication products.
2.) You will also be maintaining the production build resources and
represent your site (Bangalore) for any build specific issue for User
(Private) Builds.
3.) You will also participate in build projects such as Makefile
Improvement & Standardization and Object Oriented Modular Build System
to name a few.
4.) You will also have an opportunity to provide solutions to
integrate new Unified Communication product builds into existing build
systems.

Required Skills:
1.) Strong understanding of source code management systems and tools.
2.) Experience with ClearCase management.
3.) Ability to write Makefiles and find root cause of build breakage.
4.) Strong experience in Release process.
5.) Strong understanding and experience with scripting languages such
as Perl and Shell.
6.) Ability to work as team member in geographically distributed
teams
7.) Good communication skills and willingness to support Development
Engineering 24X7

Preferred Skills:
1.) Web development experience using ASP or J2EE technologies.
2.) Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
