Position: Build and Release Engineer

Job Location: Bangalore

Job Description: As Software Build and Release Engineer for Cisco you
will:
i.) Develop complex tools and scripts using PERL, and C
ii.) Maintain and add features to the group's web pages, working with
databases, enhancing make system, administering Linux machines, and
providing build and tooling support to development engineers.
iii.) Learn, enhance and optimize the entire software build and
release process that we follow before we ship software to our
customers.

Required Skills:
i.) Strong PERL, CGI, shell programming and C experience.
ii.) Experience with GNU software, development tools (compilers,
linkers, make systems), Configuration Management systems (Clearcase,
CVS).
iii.) Ability to multitask and solve problems related to build
failures.
iv.) Strong team player and promote communication and cooperation
amongst team members.

Preferred Skills:
i.) Experience of System admin.
ii.) Knowledge of Linux and UNIX machines, and SQL database.
