You certainly can in iOS7, at least as of a few days ago. In our app once you set the following it makes your background transparent and shows the user wallpaper. If you try to programmatically take a screenshot, it will just show black instead.
See this post. In this link, the accepted answer gives a way to take screenshot of home screen while your app is in background. But that's been achieved through a private API, which means your app probably will get rejected by App Store on time of submission.
Managed Home Screen will start the screensaver whenever the lock screen appears. If the system's lock screen timeout is longer than Screensaver show time then thescreen saver will show until the lock screen appears. If the system's lock screen timeout is shorter than inactive time to enable screen saver the screensaver will appearas soon as the device's lock screen appears.
You can access the Managed Home Screen's debug screen by selecting the back button until the debug screen is displayed (select the back button 15 times or more). From this debug screen, you can launch the Android Device Policy application, view and upload logs, or temporarily pause kiosk mode to update the device. For more information about pausing kiosk mode, see the Leave kiosk mode item in the Android Enterprise dedicated device settings. If you would like an easier way to access Managed Home Screen's debug screen, you can enable the Quick access to debug menu setting using device configuration policies or you can set the Enable easy access debug menu to True using application configuration policies.
You can personalise your device by setting your own wallpaper. Your device includes a selection of wallpapers to choose from, or you can use one of the photos or videos you've taken or downloaded. On some devices you can even choose to set a wallpaper that changes each time you use your device.
Please note: If you would like to use a wallpaper or image from the internet, you will first need to download it onto your device. You can usually do this by pressing and holding the image until you get a pop-up with the option Save Photo or Save Image. The image will then be saved in the Downloads folder in the Gallery.
Please note: The steps described below explain how to set your wallpaper if your device is running Android 10. If your device is running a previous version of Android, the steps may be different.
The home screen tiles are blank at the homepage and I have to restart the Roku anytime I want to use an app that is not on my remote shortcut buttons. The Roku is up to date. This is on a streambar pro
After the new software update (April 2022, One UI 4.1), I've been experiencing an issue with my lock screen wallpaper. The quality of the image changes after setting it as wallpaper. The image becomes low resolution and the colors were different from the original. I even tried it in samsung default wallpapers. On the other hand, there's no issue with my home screen wallpaper. I tried to screenshot my lock screen but the photo looks fine. Is this a bug on the new update? Is anyone experiencing the same issue?
@istroberi Hello, try clearing the cache and data of the Lock screen app. To do this, access Settings / Lock screen, scroll down to About Lock screen, see i button, in Permissions verify that you have the permissions granted, In Battery-Optimized, in Storage, clear the cache and data and restart the device.Comment.Greetings.
Your application has most likely failed. Try reinstalling the app. If the problem persists, then it's worth checking your phone settings. I have never used the wallpaper app. I usually look for beautiful wallpapers on Pinterest or use those Samsung offers. I recently downloaded a cool wallpaper at -wallpapers/. I always share useful links where you can find something interesting and valuable. I like to set a beautiful wallpaper on the lock screen and my computer's desktop. Most often, I choose pictures with motivational phrases.
You insult the consumer and you never give a correct answer. If not, answer these questions. Why does the screen of Samsung phones not turn on when receiving a new message from Instagram or WhatsApp, telegram or... ? Why is the screen always on in A32 but not in A33? What do you want to do with exinus? You want to creat something look like snapdragon or bionic of apple? You caaaaant! Please give up.
One of the most exciting features to arrive in last year's iOS 16 release was a whole new level of customization for your lock screen. Rather than just letting you set a static image, Apple opened the floodgates to allow you to create screens that cycled through collections of your photos of friends, pets, and landscapes, see live weather updates and astronomical conditions, and much more.
The feature remains mostly the same in iOS 17, although Apple made a nice tweak in iOS 17.1 so you can now select any of your albums to show on the Photo Shuffle lock screen rather than being limited to the fixed smart collections of people, pets, nature, and cities. You can also still set up multiple lock screens to cycle through, and that also now means multiple Photo Shuffle screens to choose pictures from different albums. Since these can be set to automatically come up in different Focus modes, you can have your iPhone automatically switch between an album of professional pictures at work and family pics at home.
While the new StandBy mode in iOS 17 means you may see your lock screen less often when your iPhone is charging, that only engages when you turn your phone sideways. So, you can still leave it upright on the charger and still enjoy your lock screen, which works especially well with the rich, full-color always-on display on Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Although your home screen still only lets you set a static photo to appear behind your app icons, now you can choose to blur that background or dress it up a bit with some filters. What's even more fun is that your home screen wallpaper is paired with each lock screen you set up, so it changes with each one. By default, you get a blurred version of the corresponding lock screen's image, but you can still set it to any other image in your photo library like before.
When you create a new lock screen wallpaper or edit an existing one, your iPhone will offer up a blurred version of the same wallpaper for the background on your home screen. It steers you toward selecting this with a prominent Set as Wallpaper Pair button, but you don't have to accept this by default.
Step 6: From the options at the bottom, leave Pair selected (Original on iOS 16.0) to keep the same wallpaper as your lock screen; select Color or Gradient to choose a static background, or choose Photos to select another image from your photo library.
Step 7: The color and gradient options are preset to use a background that matches your lock screen wallpaper. To choose a different color or gradient, select the Color or Gradient button a second time to bring up the color picker.
Step 8: Select Blur to choose whether to blur your home screen wallpaper. This option is only available when using a matching lock screen wallpaper or a custom photo; it won't be active when using a color or gradient since there's nothing to blur in that case.
Step 5: From the options at the bottom, select Pair (Original on iOS 16.0) to use the same wallpaper as your lock screen, Color or Gradient to choose a static background, or Photos to select a different image from your photo library.
You can also quickly choose a new home screen wallpaper for your current lock screen in the same way as setting wallpapers in prior versions of iOS. This skips the step of opening the lock screen wallpaper editor and takes you directly to selecting a home screen wallpaper instead.
Step 4: From the options at the bottom, select Pair (Original on iOS 16.0) to use the same wallpaper as your lock screen, Color or Gradient to choose a static background, or Photos to select an image from your photo library.
If you've customized your wallpaper to use a color, gradient, or separate photo and later decide that you want to go back to using the paired wallpaper from your lock screen, repeat the above steps and select the Pair option (or Original on iOS 16.0).
Is the home screen blurry on your iPhone? This is most likely due to iOS 16's new wallpaper blur feature and can happen when you set one picture for both the lock screen and home screen. Luckily, this can be disabled in a few simple steps. Here's how to fix your home screen when it's blurry.
Apple just showed out iOS 16, which includes the biggest update to the Lock Screen. You can now edit and customize how the lock screen shows with widgets, wallpapers, live activities, and etc. One of the simplest ways to give your phone a more unique vibe is the wallpaper.
But many iOS 16/17 users find that they have no choice but to set the same wallpapers for home and lock screen. Is there any chance to separate home screen and lock screen wallpapaers? Let's find out below.
And according to the latest iOS update, you will have two options while customizing the lock screen wallpaper: one is to Set as Wallpaper Pair, and another is to Customise Home Screen. We will see how it works below.
You can set different wallpapers directly while customizing. And if you want change later, you can do it in Settings. Now let's see how to customize wallpapers on iOS 16 at first and then how to set different wallpaper on lockscreen and home screen.
You may also want to have multiple wallpapers on your iPhone. Luckily, you can do this by creating a slideshow on the iOS 16 lock screen while customizing. It is called Photo Shuffle, which shows a couple of photos you choose according to a timetable you choose or by tapping the screen. Here is a video that helps you learn how to use the iOS 16 Photo Shuffle.
