We received this email, too, and assumed it was a scam, so didn't reply. However, we know the Folk's daughter and I've sent her an email to ask if this is something her parents would send. It seems very uncharacteristic. I'll let you all know when I get a reply.

Lorrie, 

Your email just came through to our inbox whereas the scam one did go  to the scam folder.  I assumed it was a scan but thought I should check with others because one never knows. Unfortunately hacking is the norm these days. I myself almost became the victim of a phone hack attempt when  perps texted me pretending to be my son and stating he lost his phone and was having a grandchild emergency and to call his friends number.- Angie
