Theme: My Family
*Enduring Understanding: Family tradition plays an important part in
Chinese culture.
*Essential Question:How would you describe the members of your
family?
*IPA: Two new students are going to visit a Chinese friend's family,
they are going to interview the parents for her/his family
members' information.
*Interepretive Task: Looking at the family album.
*Interpersonal Task:Understand simple conversations about family.
Describe your family in simple Chinese.
*Presentational Task: Make a Family Tree. (Write a paragraph for each
of your family members, then present in class.)
