Hi, All

This year, I created a Class Email for me to communicate with my
students. I sent a lot of useful websites we got from the workshop to
the students. They love using them. This is the email I received
before the break.

"有一个好两天的断裂"

Your thoughts?

Lily

Lily:
That is a very interesting message. I am sorry that I could not
respond earlier.
There are a few observations for this message.
1. This student has a positive attitude or feedback about your class.
The student used the tools.

2. He/she is trying to make sense of the writing, which is good in
learning a language.

3. This sentence shows that word-to-word translation is not helpful.
" a good two-day break"?

Am I right?
Henry

Hi, Henry:

Thanks for your response. You are absolutely right. We talked about it the second day, also discussed how to use information from the web. Very interesting, students enjoy the independence they have when using the web info to communicate.

I have another one with grammar practice.

"我的学校虽然很水,但是很妈。"

I guess I should start to collect these sentences just for fun.

Enjoy tomorrow.  (How do you translate it anyway?)

Lily
