When ever you read a question showing temperature, you will find that
temperature in Celcius is written as Degree Celcius.

I would like to know the significance of Degree in Celcius scale of
measuring temperature.

practically, i feel, the degree symbol is just to disiguish it from coulumb.
Farenheit from Farad.
as to Kelvin, usually all the k's represent constants, which are usually in small letters (equi. const. for ex.); so no degree symbol.

i may be wrong.

When you need to write temperature in Celcius, you will write C.

Which will distinguish it with other scales of temperature.

We need to go through the origin of Celcius scale to know the
significance. I will read more about it from the chapter measurement
in any physics book to know it.
