Dear Colleague,

The planning of the Open Education Global 2023 Conference (16-18 October, Edmonton, Amiskwaciwâskahikan, Canada) is well underway: https://conference.oeglobal.org/2023/.

The Call for Proposals opened in mid-February and will close in mid-May 2023: https://conference.oeglobal.org/2023/2023-call-for-proposals/.

We invite you to become a reviewer of proposals submitted to the conference. You are receiving this invitation because of your active involvement as a reviewer during the past conference editions or another colleague recommending you for this role.

Expectations: Each reviewer will be asked to provide a short review of 3-5 proposals between 17th May and 21st June 2023.

If you accept this invitation, please provide your details by 5th May in a brief form here.

We will acknowledge all active reviewers on the conference website (https://conference.oeglobal.org/2023/), in conference-related communications and during the conference opening and closing sessions.

Call for Indigenous Reviewers

OE Global and Norquest College remain committed to uplifting and promoting the voices of Indigenous Peoples in the spirit of mutual understanding, respect, and obligation. As such, we are endeavoring to ensure that upcoming conference proposals submitted by Indigenous authors, or which directly relate to our co-theme of Indigenous sustainability and Ways of Knowing, are reviewed by Indigenous experts with the utmost care, respect, and understanding.
Therefore, we are calling for proposal reviewers who identify as Indigenous, who would be willing to disclose their identity, in order to be paired with proposals submitted by Indigenous Peoples or contain elements related to our conference co-theme. As this is an international conference, this call is open to all Indigenous Peoples regardless of region/territory location.
Thank you for your consideration.
