Can you help organize a local event for PAAD 2009?

Dear Alberta PAAO Supporter,

Greetings, and best wishes for 2009.

Last year, you were kind enough to indicate your support (in some way)
for our Edmonton PAAD Event so Thank you.

I am canvasing everyone to see who would be willing to start a PAAD
Event in your local community or join one nearby? An event can be as
simple or as complicated as you want (and your budget allows - we have
no funding).

The idea for our Edmonton PAAD Event began last year when Shelly JONES
of Edmonton (no relation) and I were put in touch with each other by
PAAO President, Sarvy EMO - we had both emailed her asking about an
Edmonton or Alberta PAAD within weeks of each other. It wasn't
fancy, we just set-up a display table with various PAS info and a PAAO
banner outside the Legislature and then City Hall on that cold April
day and began handing out (b&w photocopied) PAAO pamphlets. Alot of
people welcomed the opportunity to learn about PAS. It is an issue
that many struggle to understand.

We have 47 "non-edmonton" supporters (from online & in-person) all
over the province - and want to see how many sites we can program this
year.
