Hey frisbee people,
My school network (Summit Public Schools) has students do off-campus internships during the school year to get real-world experience, see what jobs are really like, etc. They're interested in all types of fields/career paths. Some popular ones include:
- Healthcare
- Business
- STEM
- Trades/construction/repair
- Arts/entertainment
- Duct cleaning - for what is life without clean ducts?
"But Phil? Where's the child labor? And why did you turf your last three throws?"
Good questions! (Also: ouch!) Students do internships Monday-Friday during the following two-week periods:
- Round 1: Sept 28-Oct 9, 2026
- Round 2: Jan 5-15, 2027
- Round 3: Mar 8-19, 2027
Want child labor, and think you may have the capacity to support a student? Let me know! I'll tell you a bit more about the program and what hosting a student intern could entail. I'll make sure to screen candidates for whatever you need from them (e.g. reliability, integrity, willingness to layyyyy ouuuuuttttt, other possible skills/mindsets).
