Albany Draft Solid Waste Management Plan - 3/23/26 virtual public meeting and 4/3/26 comment deadline

Hi All,

We now have the recently released Albany Solid Waste Partnership's draft Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP)!  Please review the SWMP and submit a public comment.  See the Draft SWMP HERE and the announcement for where to submit your public comments HERE and attached.  (Note that the 3/3/26 presentation was cancelled due to weather.)

The public comment period ends on 4/3/26. Zero Waste Education subcommittee members will be reviewing the SWMP and submitting a comment.  If you're interested in helping with this review, please contact me at tlie...@gmail.com.

SAVE THE DATE & SPREAD THE WORD:   There will be a public presentation meeting from the City of Albany about the draft SWMP on Monday March 23, 2026 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm.  The meeting will be virtual - link to come.
