Hi all!
The Biodiversity Working Group (BWG) is drafting a mission statement to guide our work as we work to make Albany more ecologically vibrant. We want this statement to be our "North Star," and to get it right, we need diverse input. A clear mission will help us stay focused on the projects that truly matter to our community and our values, ensuring our goals are equitable and accessible for all of Albany.
To do this, we drafted a short survey to gather input on early versions and to provide a space for alternative suggestions. We invite you to pass this along to any family, friends, or coworkers who share an interest in building a more resilient and ecologically driven Albany.
Individual survey responses will not be shared externally; they will be synthesized to identify common themes and priorities for our mission statement.
We will collect responses until our next meeting on May 14th.
