Awake, My Soul: The Story of the Sacred Harp: Film screenings in Hudson, N.Y., June 12, 14, and 15. This 2025 documentary explores a distinctive American hymn singing tradition that lives on and is spreading through the world today in all-day singings (including in Easton, N.Y., on June 13) and local singing groups (including a monthly gathering near Woodstock, N.Y., and a weekly singing at St. George's Episcopal Church in Schenectady). At Time & Space theater in Hudson (Friday 6/12, 6:30pm; Saturday 6/14, 4pm; Monday 6/15, 4:30pm).
