Dear friends,

A group of volunteers will be organising a Buffet Pasta Night on Saturday 19th October 2013 (7:30pm), at Attard Parish Centre. The funds raised from this activity and any donations collected will be used to finance the building of a Social Development Centre in the village of Lagjja Mirdita in the periphery of the city of Durrës, Albania.

 

Dominicans have been offering their services at Lagjja Mirdita for the past fifteen years. The small chapel dedicated to St. George in this village, built with the generosity of the Maltese people, gives the opportunity to celebrate the Sunday Masses and other liturgical servicesthroughout the year. The local community now needs an appropriate environment in which classes of catechism and other educational exercises could be held within the broad context of a more complete human formation.

 

Join us!  Help to raise funds for Albania whilst enjoying good food.
