Hi all,

We are running a very old version of Alaveteli (which we want to upgrade) however in the meantime we’ve noticed that there are a number of requests with repeated, duplicate events which, when a partial view is loaded, is causing the passenger queue to fill up.

Does anyone have any scripts or suggestions on the cleanest way to remove these old, duplicate events? Is this something taken care of in newer versions of Alaveteli?

Thanks in advance,
Ben

Hey Ben,

Here's the issue that tracked this: https://github.com/mysociety/alaveteli/issues/4776

It did get fixed (https://github.com/mysociety/alaveteli/pull/7890) and included in release 0.44.0.0, but we haven't had chance to work on a cleanup script (https://github.com/mysociety/alaveteli/issues/7911). There's a draft query in #7911, but doesn't quite do everything it needs to. Would love contributions towards this!

Best,

Gareth
