No Longer able to create issues/PRs?

Hi folks,

I was trying to raise an issue or PR against the repo, it looks like I'm prevented from doing so:

Is this a new security feature from MySociety? If so, is it possible to get added to an allowlist (if one exists) so we can contribute.

Sorry Ben, we certainly don't want to limit legit contributions.

We have seen an uptick in poor AI powered contributions are looking at GitHub's options to address these - just testing the water and nothing is set in stone tho.

I have disabled for now and added yourself to the bypass list.

Thanks Graeme. I appreciate that AI is doing a lot of weird stuff at the moment.

Full disclosure - the PRs I'm about to create were AI-Assisted, and are focused on Github Pages (which haven't been updated in a significant period of time). Hopefully a bit better than the AI slop that others submit!

Sounds good - the pages do need some updating so any contributions would be appreciated.

We're aren't against AI assisted contributions. We are using models ourselves. I have draft policy which I need to run past others at mySociety which basically boils down to "you remain the accountable author: review it, test it, and be able to explain it".
