So the schedule planning is coming along nicely, with the help of
Daniela, Helen, Henare, and James. I hope we can finalise it on
Friday, or at least, early next week.
We've got over 50 different people coming from over 30 different
countries! Just getting all these people together in one room is going
to be really exciting. I was thinking about ways we could find out a
little more about each other in advance of the conference, so we can
make best use of our limited time. What is the general feeling about
people sending me 100 words and a photo of themselves, and I'll put it
on a "delegates" page on the website? Or any other suggestions?

My short bio:
I am the founding director of NATO Watch and also work as an independent
human security and arms control consultant, writer and activist. I was
formerly Executive Director of the London and Washington DC-based British
American Security Information Council (BASIC) (2001-2007) and before that
Program Manager at UK-based think-tank, Saferworld (1998-2001). I try to
keep tabs on British and US defence and foreign policy, NATO and
transatlantic security issues, the international arms trade and arms control
and disarmament issues. The Scottish Highlands, my family and Arsenal FC
help to keep me sane.
