Hello,
I haven't sent a newsletter for 2 months after pestering everyone back in June about my new book, Microadventures: I thought you deserved a break from me!

I've got 4 topics for you today. You can either scroll down for details, click the links below if you're in a hurry, or just delete this email and stop procrastinating your day... :-)
    1. My new adventure film, using a helicopter drone camera. It's fab!
    2. Adventure1000: what great adventure could you have for £1000?
    3. If you have read Microadventures, please would you leave a quick review?
    4. Planning an adventure, and live near London? Come along to this event.
Today, I'd like to share my latest film with you. It's only 4 minutes so it won't distract you for long.
It's the first film I have made using a helicopter drone camera, which is very exciting!
If you would love to have more adventures and spend more time with your friends, but find that you are too busy and short of time, then this film is for you.

(ps- if you like this film, then you might also enjoy this 90 seconds of time lapse and the concept of not beating yourself up about being perfect.)

My new big theme on my blog is Adventure1000, which looks at the things that get in the way of people having the adventures they yearn for, and working out ways to get round them. I've had some fantastic interviews with adventurers, including:
(ps - if you like these, I have a weekly Adventure1000 newsletter that you can join here. Also, if you are planning an adventure and live in London you might want to come to this event at the Royal Geographical Society.)

Microadventures has sold ridiculously well and I am so grateful to all of you who bought a copy. (Apologies to those in the USA for the problems with Amazon. You can get it here instead.)
The book reached #12 on the chart for all books in the UK, (compare that to my cycling round the world book which is at position 51,981) and now has 150 five-star reviews on Amazon (and a 1-star review...).
If you have read the book I would be very, very grateful if you could just take 30 seconds to write a quick, honest review here (even if you didn't buy it on Amazon).

Thank you!

On to my usual round-up of the most popular bits on my blog recently:
And finally, fancy looking cool in a #microadventure t-shirt? Thought so... Get 'em while they're hot!

Sorry for the information overload!
Alastair
