Good afternoon,

If you are looking for inspiration for something exciting to do this weekend, perhaps you'd be interested in sleeping on an island, cycling coast to coast or building a wild hut

I am really trying to help more people get out and have small, local, simple adventures of their own (I call them microadventures). If you think this sounds interesting but don't really know where to start, or if you like the idea but never get round to it, please could I ask you to quickly fill in this survey here? It will only take a minute but would help me enormously. Thank you.
I know that there is an appetite for these trips because 250 people have volunteered to join me on a microadventure close to London!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the 11th Night of Adventure event which raised £8500 for Hope and Homes for Children. If you missed it you can watch all the talks here.

I am speaking at these forthcoming public events. Please come along if you can...
Here are the most popular bits and bobs from my blogs in the past month (excluding the microadventures mentioned above).
My most popular recent video is this rather silly Valentine's night escapade, involving hairy men, a very cold lake, and lots of meat...

Finally, I would really appreciate it if you filled in this quick survey about microadventures. Thank you!
Alastair
