Hi,

I know that most of my UK readers will be reading all sorts of highbrow stuff on the train home from work this evening, but if you happen to sneak a guilty glance at the Metro to see what your fave celeb is up to, then you'll be disappointed instead to see a double page feature on microadventures... (Article also here.)

Thank you to everyone who came to my recent talk in Hong Kong. It was a crazy fleeting visit. I spent one night on the 115th floor at the Ritz Hotel (I wasn't paying) and the next night sleeping on top of a hill (I was paying). I hope you'll enjoy this 4-minute film of my Hong Kong microadventure:

If you have enjoyed the Night of Adventure events I launched in support of Hope and Homes for Children, then I hope you will come along to the London event in March. They are always fabulous evenings, but this one has a really nice focus: all of the adventurers are women. I often get grief for the shortage of female speakers in the line-ups so this will be a brilliant showcase of some of Britain's finest female adventurers.

My film Into The Empty Quarter is screening in these places:
I've done a couple of interesting interviews recently:
Finally, my #Adventure1000 project is gathering momentum nicely. We've already got a 1000 people saving up £1000 for a great adventure. If you'd like to know more, please click here (and sign up for that newsletter here).

Have a lovely weekend!
Alastair

It takes 3 seconds to do (I've checked...) Thanks!
