Hello supporters,

In an effort to keep members informed of community events, here is a notice of a protest. 

US Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy, Jr. is in Fairbanks today. He is touring the Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center on Cowles Street at noon with U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan and Lisa Murkowski. They will hold a press conference at 1 PM, that may not have public access.

Protesters are organizing in front of CAIHC to let the senators know that Alaskans are disappointed in their votes on recent budget bills and the claw back on money paying for America's "soft power" and public broadcasting funding, and in the secretary for his dismantling of health access for Alaskans.

Remember that you cannot access Cowles Street from Airport Road due to a detour.

Other cabinet secretaries are scheduled to come to Alaska later this summer.
