Was gonna hit him up for some gear and when I called get a disconnect
number, anyone know whats up with dz

Last I heard, DZ was having problems with bad press. If I was in Anchorage, I would go by an check on him. 
I will be in town on Saturday, so I will go by and see if he is open.

Oh, The last time I saw DZ; we were at the summit. He was wearing a bullet proof vest because of something he said was posted on CNN, taken out of context, etc. 
He could have had his phone disconnected due to the media pestering him. I am just speculating, openly.
Will someone go and check on him?

Yeah I've been wondering the same thing. I sent him and email several weeks ago about possibly using a few tents if he has any for the Rendezvous but I never got anything back. I know how was having trouble with the media, not sure to what extent though.
