Cupcake Dragon, my first picture book, now on Kickstarter!

Hello friends!

It's been a long time since I've used this mailing list! I've edited another anthology (Never Too Old to Save the World) since I last wrote, and I just recently had my first micro fiction story published in a charity zine. The world has been crazy, but I'm still here, writing.

A few years ago now, I had the opportunity to co-write a picture book based on a family friendly card game. It was an incredibly collaborative process--very much different from the way many of the authors I've interviewed in the past have described their own picture book experiences! I'm really happy with how the book came out, especially given how many creatives there were in this kitchen, and I'm excited for people to finally get to read it!

To that end, Cupcake Dragon--both the book and the game--are now live on Kickstarter!

I've also written a guest post over at GeekMom and did a short interview on the Outland Blog. 

It's a very weird time to be on Kickstarter right now, and we're off to a much slower start than we'd like, so if you're interested in family friendly games and picture books, we'd love it if you backed us! If this isn't the moment, we'd appreciate having you spread the word. (I'm posting plenty on my socials, if re-sharing or making stories is your thing!)
