Hey AlamoCoders, volunteer opportunity! There's going to be a Code
Jam/Hackathon for kids in San Antonio next month, and the coordinators
are looking for some volunteers to help with the technical bits. They
need a couple of people for a Java station and a couple of people for
some basic HTML/CSS stuff. The details I have are in the message below,
including a couple of links that give you an idea of what will be going
on.
Debi, who contacted me, is CCd on this email. You can contact me or her if you're interested.
Reply quickly if interested! I've already sent this to the JUG list.

Hi, Ryan. I'm sure hoping you can help me. It'd be great to have a volunteer or two from your group to help Adele Williams, who is running the Java station at the Rackspace Summer Youth Code Jam. I'm also in search of one or two volunteers who would be willing to take on leading the Hacktivity station. There's a complete guide online at
http://hackasaurus.org/en-US/educators/
It's not a complicated activity, but it does require someone who knows html and css and can show kids how to play around with the source code.
Here are details on the event:
Thanks so much for your help. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Debi
