I have a quick question: if I come, it will be my first time there. I can bring several things about .NET or software development in general including my own books, articles, or blog posts, but I'm not sure what the focus of your meetings are. Would you please shed some light on this for noobs? ;-)

Thanks

Keyvan,

Would love to have you there. The typical process goes like so:
  1. An attendee talks for 5 minutes about a book/blog post/article he's reading and what he's learned.
  2. the other attendees can ask questions about the subject after or even during if politeness allows.
  3. repeat with second person and so on
End of the day it gets to be a really strong sharing of ideas among colleagues and the technical level is all over the spectrum. I've gotten to meet people who are working on the same thing I am and can have it turn into something.
Thanks,
Ryan Svihla

for the record "something" means spawns off other technical work..I'm not advocating the Tech Book Club as nerd E-harmony here.

LOL OK. I try to be there. I have an evening class at UTSA and if my schedule leaves enough time, I'll be there. It can be fun.

Thanks
