upcoming events; draft June minutes

Hello APC board members,

Below are the "internal notes" from our recent board meeting.  In addition to the upcoming events in those notes, you will soon be receiving a message from me with a link to the online signup for the July 21 tour of APC.

Also, attached is a draft of the official minutes from the June meeting.  Please let me know if you have any comments or suggested changes to this document. 

INTERNAL NOTES from June 18 board meeting:

Next Thursday, June 25, 1 pm is all-staff meeting and staff recognition awards.  At Ploughshares, picnic lunch.  Let Doug know if you’re coming to the picnic. 

 

July 11- Police Officers Association is doing BBQ at APC.  Purpose is to memorialize Office Gresham, who was strongly involved in community policing.  Also open to the entire Alameda community.  Being put on by POA.

 

Next Design Team mtg is 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 24.

 

Doug had a meeting with Eden Housing Authority, which is doing the Affordable Housing for Site A, regarding coordinating efforts between them and APC as development at Alameda Point moves ahead.

 

There was a suggestion to visit a Police Station.  Doug will connect Frank Peterson with Perry at the Teen Center.
