The digivu is a simple and cost-effective way to download your digital tachograph. The device connects directly to your PC via the included USB adapter and data can be sent to Convey Tachograph using the Convey Desktop software.
A Low Cost Combination for Driver Card and VU Download
The power of digivu has been combined with our card reading technology to give you a low cost yet highly efficient way to download Vehicle Unit and Driver Card data. Purchase a digivu+ kit and you can read and store both Driver Card and Vehicle Unit data on the included digivu. The digivu+ is powered by an independent battery source, which in turn powers the digivu.
digivu will store all of the Driver Card and Vehicle Unit data until you connect it to a PC. When you connect to a PC, all of the data can be automatically downloaded by our proprietary software, digiConnect. The digivu is supported by all the major UK analysis bureau. No additional software setup, beyond the standard digivu setup, is required to support digivu+.
Please note that the card reader part is not available as a separate accessory for your existing digivu. This is because the units have to be firmware compatible (earlier digivu did not have to handle independent card files).
digivu helps you remain compliant as you periodically download vehicle unit data. Our digiConnect software allows you to customise your download settings to select which data and for how many days.
digivu manages its own files including archiving and cleaning up partial downloads caused by any power interruptions. As it has its own file system, it cannot be written to inadvertently by viruses.
This small robust and lightweight download key is supplied with a 4GB USB stick allowing you to download tacho data from hundreds of vehicles. This device is compatible with all makes and models of digital tachographs within Europe and comes with Digiconnect software and its own USB adapter for your PC. Once the USB is inserted into the Digivu, files will be automatically uploaded. How to use the Digivu Plug the Digivu's download key into the vehicle unit, once you have done this, an orange activity LED will flash. When the download is complete the LED light will change to green. If an error has occurred during the download it will light up red. A separate LED light indicates the level of memory space left on the vehicle download device. These colours range from green to orange and will finally show red when there is insufficient space for the download. When connecting your device to the PC, if your computer is not a Windows-based machine but does support the reading of standard USB memory sticks, you may be able to view and copy files directly from the digivu on an Apple, Linux or Andriod device. The software supplied with the Digivu allows you to select exactly which data you need to download from your vehicle unit (latest activity only, full activity and speed data etc) as well as allowing you to optimise the download speed. This software is to configure the unit only it does not provide any analysis. Please note this device is also compatible with our Digipostpro. Please Note This product is simply the tool which takes data from your VU.
