Hey all,

We can see quite a few issues going on right now on this group as well as the other group (God knows why there are still two groups!). There has been a lot of tension between the residents and the secretaries (might not be personal though). I feel that the discussion on the group isn't going that well. This is not good for anybody. So it is high time we all meet once in the common room and settle all the issues. 

I do understand that we have problems but common, they can't be solved in a day or two. There are a lot of bottle necks in the process. We can see that the new dispensers have come and similarly I'm expecting the washing machines (need of the hour!) to come asap. So, I request all the residents to have patience. At the same time, there were a few doubts and objections raised in the GBM  - budget related, timelines, etc. and even I feel that they were not completely answered by the relevant secretaries; and also the sports sec budget not being put before the hostel general body (for whatever reasons - now please don't stat blaming on who was responsible for that). I can see a healthy discussion happening on all these only through a meeting (GBM or AAM, whatever).

Since the quizzes are going on, weekday doesn't seem like a good idea. Friday or Saturday night should be good. Can the gen sec or any sec take the responsibility and plan such a meeting. Put a big IP with bold letters at least a day before so that there is no communication problem.

@Secretaries: Please be prepared on your list of activities, budgets, and timelines(practical ones please) to answer all the questions. Try not to postpone the issues to a next meeting or some online discussion.

PS: I request all the secretaries to be present for the ENTIRE meeting.

Lots of people have an f-slot quiz so Thursday might not be a very good idea!
