Amogh is a state-of-the-art hydrodynamic dual hull heavy bottom underwater vehicle design, highly manoeuvrable and capable of surging up to 1m/s. The vehicle is loaded with an Intel core CPU, propelled by 5 thrusters and designed for a mission time of 60 minutes. Laden with inertial AHRS and depth transducers, it has the capability of upgrading into a scientific version with oceanographic sensors.

Mission:
The team
is currently targeting two competitions - AUVSI RoboSub 2013 and NIOT SAVe 2014 and is even expecting to participate in Robsub 2013.
In NIOTSAVe 2014, the IIT Madras Team after beating 17 top teams from all over India in the first two rounds is waiting for its results of the third round. The final competition will be amongst top 5 teams which will take place in December this year.

The team is inviting applications for the same. Applicants must have a prior knowledge of Java and/or C++. Applicants knowing OpenCV and Arduino would be given preference.
Applicants are expected to spend a good fraction of their summer vacation working with the team.
